Cristiano Ronaldo's individual highlights vs Cagliari shows he is still up for everything (video)

Cristiano Ronaldo kickoff 2020 with a bang.

The Juventus superstar scored a hat-trick - and provided an assist - against Cagliari on Monday afternoon.

It was one of his best appearances for the club to date and despite turning 35 in just one month, Ronaldo continues to prove he can do it all.

He's arguably more important than ever - and his stats against Cagliari prove that.

On top of netting three goals and making an assist, he created two key chances, completed 24 out of 28 passes in the final third, had an 89% pass accuracy and completed five out of five take-ons.

Brilliant. Ronaldo really can still do it all. There was talk of him slowing down now he's reaching 35. But that looks like a pretty silly shout now.

Believe it or not, this was the five-time Ballon d'Or winner's first hat-trick for Juventus, but his 56th overall for club and country. What a player.

It seems Ronaldo made another statement to Juve boss Maurizio Sarri, who has previously been accused of playing his star man in the wrong position.

Well, judging by the coaches post-match comments, that probably won't be an issue anymore.

"The difficult choices to make in attack? This is the major difficulty right now. I always want to keep Cristiano Ronaldo as close as possible to the goals," Sarri said.

It's likely that moving forward, CR7 will continue to partner Paulo Dybala upfront. After all, he proved just how effective he can be in that position today.

Ronaldo's goals and assist fired Juventus to the top of the Serie A table and they will now look to stay there until the end of the season.

If the Portuguese star can play like this week in, week out, then few will look past the Old Lady as champions once again
