US Tariffs now in effect Despite on going talks with China
The Tariffs war between US and China has gone to a whole new level with the US tarrifs now in effect Despite on going talks between both countries.
Although, Donald Trump hinted that a deal could still be reached, noting the “beautiful letter” he received from his Chinese counterpart, he still increased tariffs on $200 billion worth of Chinese imports Friday morning.
While reacting, Trump confirmed the uncertainty the acting might invite on the country.
He said: “I have no idea what’s going to happen,” Trump said Thursday at the White House, where high-level trade negotiations will continue today.
In response, Beijing said it would take unspecified “countermeasures.”
Could we see another heated drama? Few keep asking. Others questions are What are the prospects for a deal?
According to others, Trump’s administration is eager to avoid further market volatility, while others believe the relationship is now battered to the extent that a quick-fire deal would be difficult to work out.
This however, isn’t the first time the US President pulls up a very unpredictable action and we only see how far this drags the US economy.
