Prince Harry is a new father after Meghan Markle delivers a baby boy. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their baby boy today at 5.26am.
The new parents are supper thrilled at the arrival of a new Royal baby, who weighed 7lbs 3oz. Buckingham Palace reports.
Meghan went into labour yesterday, after she was already overdue for a week.
Prince Harry expressed gladness over the event, when he broke the news of his new baby arrival.
Speaking from Windsor, he said: “I’m very excited to announce that Meghan and myself had a baby boy this morning, a very healthy baby boy. I’m so incredibly proud of my wife.”
He added: “It’s brilliant, I’m absolutely thrilled. We’re really grateful for all the love and support shown to us. It’s been overdue so we have had a little bit of time to think about names so that’s the next bit.”
Price Harry said he was yet to attend most baby births, with his son’s birth the first were he was really involved.
“I haven’t been at many births. This is my first birth. It was amazing and absolutely incredible. I’m incredibly proud of my wife.
“Every father and parent will say your baby is absolutely amazing but this little thing is absolutely to die for. I’m over the moon.”
