EFCC release Zlatan gives reason Naira Marley is still been held in detention
The Economic Financial Crime Commission, EFCC, on Tuesday released Young talented raper Zlatan Ibile after he was arrested alongside producer/ rapper Naira Marley and there others.
According to reports, the trio were arrested for alleged cyber crimes and indecent usage of social media especially, Naira Marley, who was subject to social media blasting before the arrest.
Zlatan Ibile, Naira Marley, and others were arrested by EFCC on Friday 10th March. However, the others were released on administrative bail except Naira.
Zlatan was released alongside his crew Tiamiu Abdulrahman Kayode, Adewunmi Adeyanju Moses, and Abubakar Musa.
EFCC’s head of department spokesperson, Tony Orilade in a new statement confirmed that the suspects were released on administrative bail and also revealed why Naira Marley is still in detention .
“There is overwhelming evidence against Naira Marley; so we can’t afford to release him on administrative bail like Zlatan and the three others.
“That Zlatan has been released does not mean they have been discharged and acquitted.
” Naira Marley is still in our custody and will be charged to court soon and we will make the charges known in an official statement soon.”
