David Beckham gets six months driving ban and ordered to pay £ 750 fine

Former United Legend David Beckham gets six months driving ban and ordered to pay £ 750 fine for using his cell phone while driving in November 2018.

The 44-year-old former England captain got sentenced at the Bromley Magistrates Court on Thursday.

The county’s District judge, Catherine Moore who was presiding over the case handed him six points on his driving licence that already had six points on it from two initial speeding offences.

On appearance, David Beckham confirmed his name and also gave his address at Holland Park, London.

As reported by Dailymail, Judge Moore ordered Beckham to stand up and then said:

‘I take into account it was slow moving traffic but that’s no excuse.

‘It still creates a risk to others. I disqualify you for six months and that starts immediately.

‘That’s no driving a car or a motorcycle for a period of six months.’

She warned him that if he drove while disqualified it would be another offence.

He was fined £750 and had to pay prosecution costs of £100.
