One time footballer of the year and Brazilian legend, Pele has completed a successful kindney surgery in a Sao Paulo hospital.
The surgery was due to a kidney stone problem, that caused him so much pain in the past.
The Albert Einstein Hospital said via its official website on Saturday, that Pele’s surgery was successful however, did not provide additional details.
As reported Daily Mail, the 78-year-old was hospitalised in Brazil on April 2 after spending five days at the Capital of France, over a urinary infection issues.
Pele won the World Cup three times, and scored 1281 goals in 1363 games during his playing career
