Boko Haram invade Kalle Village Butcher Over 13 people

The reports from the Emergency Management Agency NEMA today said, About 1,300 people has been displaced and over 13 people already killed in different attacks by the popular terrorist group Boko Haram in Borno.

NEMA’s Northeast Zonal Coordinator, Mr Bashir Garga, made the disclosure in a statement in Maiduguri on Sunday



He said the 13 Farmers were butchered while working on their farms OK n Saturday afternoon at a village in Borno named Kalle. Adding that they made use of sharp cutlass to butcher their victims.



“They used machetes to kill their victims who were working on their farms; as confirmed by members of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF).



“So far, we recovered 12 dead bodies from the fields and nearby bush.

In he's statement, he said although the members of the terrorist group had guns, they did not use in other to reduce attention.

“Three persons were injured in the raids. The insurgents had guns, but did not use them so as not to attract the attention of troops in the nearby Molai village,” he said.



He added that the increased attack on the farmers has been due to allegations that the local farmers has been given important information to the military about them.



Mr Garga listed the affected communities to include Dala-Malari, Fuguri, and Femari.

“Attacks on soft targets is the hallmark of the insurgents’ due to increased military clampdown that has curtailed their activities.



“Humanitarian partners were being mobilized to cater for the victims as soon as possible,” he added.
